How nice that you came to visit my website! My name is Nadeche, I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I have been living abroad since 2016, in multiple countries including New Zealand. I have a love for New Zealand that I would like to share with you. Below you can find the story about how Makoha started.
New Zealand has always been a destination that seemed too far and too expensive for me. A destination that seemed amazing, but I thought I would never get there. In 2016 the time had come and I went to New Zealand. I spent a year in total there. During this year I have seen most of the country. I have also worked and lived for a longer period of time at multiple locations. I had an amazing year and experienced and seen a lot. Read more about my year in New Zealand here.
With this website I hope to make New Zealand more accessible for everyone. Show them that it is a destination worth the long journey. I hope this will inspire travelers and make it easier to travel in New Zealand. Makoha means “broaden” in Maori, my goal is to broaden your horizons.
